据Intel处理代理商消息，新一代采用65nm Cedar Mill核心的低阶/主流级Celeron D处理器，铁定于2006年5月28日正式发布，预计将会于发布后两周内正式上架。发布初期的65nm Cedar Mill核心Celeron D处理器只限于较高级的型号，包括Celeron D 352 (3.2GHz/512KB L2/533MHz FSB)及Celeron D 356 (3.33GHz/512KB L2/533MHz FSB)，预计每千颗定价分别为$79美元及$89美元，而Celeron D 352发布时售价将和Celeron D 355(3.33GHz/256KB L2/533MHz FSB)相同。

可以哦．超到5Ghz/800FSB，温度只有５０度！

According to the test above a 5Ghz/800FSB Celeron 356 ( 3.33Ghz/533/512kb L2 ) managed to score the same time in Super Pi 1M ( 28s ) as a 3Ghz FX53.

All that with the stock intel cooler.Base freq full load temps ( burn in ) are 50C.

Celeron D 356采用65nm工艺制造，主频3.33GHz，支持FSB 533MHz，缓存容量从90nm Celeron的256KB提升到512KB，核心固定倍频25x，电压采用Multiple VID由1.25v至1.4v，最高功耗为69W，支持EM64T及Execute Bit功能。
