The New Lipsync Boys

Since recently, there are two boys sweeping the Internet world in China with their home-made videos.

In those videos, the so-called Backdorm Boys, by doing lipsyncs with all the gestures they can make and every facial expression they can muster, has made many viewers laugh to their tears. The videos are distributed online and has attracted hundreds of thousands of viewers. They'd do anything in front of their camera. They put on their costumes, some clown-like makeups and maybe even wigs, just to make it look funnier.

After looking at some of the videos, some would say you see one, you've seen them all, but, in fact, not necessarily so. The creativeness they have can always bring the audience freshness and take you by surprise in every new video they produce. In one of the videos, they even had put on the Beijing Opera costumes, I have no idea where did they get a hold of these since it's not that easy to obtain, but it sure as hell was interesting.

Those videos, judging from the background image, obviously were shot in their dormitry and that's probably where they get their band name from. In their lipsync duo, the one who always shows up in front is Huang Yixin, the other one in the back is Wei Wei. Both boys are from the College of Art in Guangzhou and wherever they are, they always appear in pairs.

Ever since the release of their first video, their career as entertainers are on the rise. There are growing numbers of opportunities for publicity for them. They are being frequently invited to entertainment shows around China and they've already begun the exploration of new territory -- Chinese comic dialoge. They grew so popular that even their NG(not good) clips are passed around among viewers seeking for fun.
